Okay, bear with me. I have one more Disney post and then I'm done. Maybe. Okay, I promise you won't see any more Mickey this month, how about that? :)
Disney cruises have a gift exchange tradition called Fish Extenders or FE's. Last time around I made hand sanitizer bottles and magnets. This time I decided on personalized frames. I found four-frame collages at the dollar store. I knew I wanted to personalize the frames with Disney paper and vinyl lettering. Since our itinerary had four ports of call I opted to vinyl a port on each frame, plus I added a Mickey head in the center. On the back I added the family's name and the ship name. They turned out super cute!
Here is my personal frame:
You may notice my frame has three ports and one ship name. We actually missed a port on our trip due to 7 foot swells. Unfortunately I couldn't make changes to the gift frames on board the ship.
A second friend liked my frame idea and decided she also wanted to give frames as her FE gifts. Unfortunately I had already cleared out these particular collage frames, but she found a smaller collage frame at a second dollar store. This is how her frames turned out:

Nativity Silhouettes
This year I prepared several nativity silhouettes for a crafting party. I designed them to fit on either a six inch square tile or a 7 inch square floating frame.
Design 1: Halos
(Please be aware that the people have single halos. The double halo is an effect of a shadow from the camera flash)
Design 2: Swirls
Design 3: Family Embrace
Design 4: Primitive

Welcome Santa
Yep, still love that Christmasy font! I was doing a bit of personal holiday shopping and came across an amazing red sequined frame that I fell hopelessly in love with! I decided to make a message for a future guest in our home. :)
A project like this is very simple. All you need is a frame and piece of colorful scrapbook paper. The vinyl is applied to the paper under the glass. This has two benefits- you can clean the frame easily without damaging the vinyl design, and you can replace the framed design with different photographs or designs later in the year. I have a feeling this cute sparkly frame will make an appearance during the Valentine season...

Custom Vinyl Frame - The Many Jobs of Dad
This has been one of the most fun projects I have completed! What a wonderful expression of love for someone important in your life! This was given as a gift for Christmas, but this idea could be used for any holiday or birthday. This frame is quite large because the recipient is such a fantastic dad, but you could apply this idea to any size collage frame.

Custom Vinyl Frame - Wedding
I was so excited when a very good friend asked me to personalize a framed picture to celebrate her recent marriage. Her favorite color is red, which made a common appearance at her reception. I requested a picture with white, hazy edges and found a beautiful black and red frame. I think the final product came out very beautifully!
